A virtual run/walk/bike event-2021 event is completed. Check back next year!
Our rescue is hosting a virtual run/walk/bike event to raise life saving funds for dogs in need. We have created this family friendly race in order to give people across the nation a chance to come together for a great cause while staying apart.
We hope that you will join us in raising $5,000 for our homeless dogs. Every ticket sold will directly help our rescue.
Each participant is challenged to complete 22 miles in 3 weeks (June5th-June27th) as a way of celebrating 22 years in operation!
This is an excellent chance to get outside and get active with your family, friends, or dogs.
You may participate in a number of ways! Walking your dog, riding your bike, running on your treadmill, hiking on trails, strolling around a park, etc.
If you want to walk/run/bike a mile a day or really challenge yourself to complete all 22 miles in a weekend, that's entirely up to you. This is a kind and inclusive event, people and dogs of all walks (hah, get it?) of life are welcome. We would love to see pictures you take during your challenge. You can even make t shirts to represent your family or place of business! We want this to be a fun way to celebrate the dogs we love.

Tracking of miles: You are welcome to track your miles whichever way is easiest for you. Your phone likely has a step tracker in it or you can download an app like MapMyRun. You can use a smart watch, a fitbit, a treadmill, a trail head map, or a track.
Completion of event and reporting of miles: Once you have finished your challenge please fill out this form in order to be entered into different prize categories.
